When I wake up in the evening
The pub is calling me
I’m happy and I like to sing
How healthy beer can be
When I taste the first little pull
Of delicious liquid gold
I’m delighted and my mind is full
Of a treasure sweet and cold

Just as long as we are drinking
As long we raise our pints
We will cherish wishfull thinking
That bear will clear our minds
It’s all over when it’s dawning
Saturated as can be
We look like we’ve been drowning
